Where does our propolis come from?

We collect our propolis directly from our local apiary. Propolis often falls to the ground when hives are opened or gets pushed out of the hive during the routine cleaning that honey bees perform to keep their home tidy.

How is Propolis Tincture made?

Propolis tincture is a liquid extract made from excess propolis that is collected from the hives of honey bees. The tincture is made by extracting the beneficial compounds from propolis using a solvent, typically alcohol. We use grain alcohol in our tincture so the end result is safe for internal and external use by humans.
