Our 100% Pure Local Wildflower Honey is harvested and bottled with care by us - middle Georgia beekeepers in partnership with local farmers! Enjoy the natural, sweetness of Georgia wildflower honey and feel good about supporting the local honey bee population and their vital role in agriculture.

WHAT IS 100% PURE WILDFLOWER HONEY

Wildflower honey comes from multi-floral, or poly-floral sources. That means it comes from a wide variety of flowers and blooms. The bees generally forage within a three mile radius of their hive and all of our hives are hosted on beautiful middle Georgia farms. Placed this way, in remote locations, our bees have access to all the best blooms in central Georgia!

Wildflower Honey flavor, taste, structure, and texture is greatly affected by its botanic and geographic origin. That's why 100% Wildflower honey from middle Georgia bees will always taste, look, and feel unique. You literally can't find this particular honey anywhere else in the world!

WHY HONEY?

  • Nutrient Content: Honey contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Honey can provide some essential nutrients, including vitamin C, calcium, and iron.
  • Antioxidant Properties: Honey is rich in antioxidants, including flavonoids and polyphenols. Antioxidants help protect your body from oxidative stress and may reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
  • Wound Healing: Honey has been used for its wound-healing properties for centuries! It has natural antibacterial properties and can help promote the healing of minor cuts, burns, and wounds when applied topically.
  • Cough and Sore Throat Relief: Honey can provide relief from coughs and sore throats. Mixing honey with warm water or herbal teas can soothe a sore throat and reduce coughing. It's even a common ingredient in many over-the-counter cough syrups!
  • Allergy Symptom Relief: The exposure to small amounts of local pollen in honey may desensitize the immune system to allergens over time therefore helping to alleviate allergy symptoms.
  • Energy Boost: Honey is a source of natural sugars, primarily fructose and glucose, which can provide a quick energy boost. *Know a long distance runner or cyclist? A pack of honey straws makes a thoughtful gift! These are often used by athletes as an energy source during endurance activities.
  • Digestive Health: Honey has been shown to have digestive benefits, such as soothing an upset stomach and potentially aiding in the treatment of gastrointestinal issues like gastritis. Raw honey will also act as a prebiotic, promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
  • Skin Health: Its antibacterial and moisturizing properties make it a popular ingredient in facial masks and creams.
  • Weight Management: Some studies suggest that substituting honey for refined sugar in your diet may help control appetite and reduce overall calorie intake. However, it's important to consume honey in moderation, as it is still calorie-dense.
  • Antimicrobial Properties: Honey's natural acidity and low water content create an environment that inhibits the growth of certain microorganisms, making it a powerful natural preservative.
